The vehicle computer is an electronic computer which used in present day cars to maneuver its computerized components. Interpreting data from sensors and delivering output to the different module, the engine control module manage the appropriate operation of the automobile.
The ECM gather inputs from various digital units in the car such as the camshaft and crankshaft sensors to smartly process information as pressure of fuel, intake, exhaust and several other components to evaluate and maneuver the operating working state of the engine, transmission system as the traction control (ABS), the AC, the body functions and more.
A common illustration is the wheel speed sensor which calculate the wheel speed and transmits the information to the automotive ECM.
